Dark Chocolate Brownie Mix

Dark Chocolate Brownie Mix

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of margarine, melted
  • 1 cup organic cacao powder
  • 2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

 

Preparation:

Take the melted margarine in a bowl and slowly add cacao powder, sugar and vanilla extract till they blend uniformly. Transfer the eggs to this blend and gently add all-purpose flour, salt and baking powder. After a fine blend is obtained, transfer the mix to a previously prepared pan and bake the contents in an oven at 375 degrees for about 40 minutes till brown. Now it is time to serve.

Servings: Suitable for 10 servings in a short time

Cacao Powder Recipes

Cacao enriched Cookies in Applesauce:

sugar-less cookies with yummy pure cacao

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup shortening
  • 2 eggs beaten thoroughly
  • 3/4 cup natural cacao powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Baking powder as required
  • 3/4 cup stevia 
  • 4 cups cake flour
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon well-ground
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda for crispness
  • 2 cups plain applesauce

 

Preparation:

Thoroughly mix sweetener and shortening and add the eggs uniformly. To this mixture add flour, other dry ingredients mentioned above and applesauce alternately in small proportions along with water in the required quantity. After the mixture is blended well, sprinkle flour on top of it for crispness. 
Cookie sheets must be greased with shortening and topped with small amounts of the prepared mixture.
The cookies are then transferred to a oven and baked for 20 minutes at about 400 degrees Fahrenheit. 

Servings:You can get about 70 cookies with this and the taste lingers in the mind for a long time.

Dark Chocolate Truffles

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cup of organic cacao powder
  • 4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup of whipping cream
  • 5 cups of powdered (confectioner's) sugar

 

 

Preparation:

Take butter in a big bowl and churn it till cream forms. Then slowly add cacao powder, vanilla extract, whipping cream and sugar till a uniform blend is achieved. Take the bowl and refrigerate for more than 45 minutes till the contents are held firm that can be rolled over nicely.

Make small balls out of it and roll them in sugar or cacao powder for that extra taste. It is such an easy delicious preparation that kids love to grab them instantly.

The prepared balls can be refrigerated and consumed when required. You can use it for many days without losing flavor or taste.

Cacao Pixies

brownie cookies

  • 1 1/2 cup cacao powder
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 cups granulated sugar
  • 8 large eggs
  • 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 5 cups regular flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda
  • Salt to taste
  • Powdered sugar small quantity

 

Preparation: 

Pour oil in a pan and slowly add the cacao powder uniformly. Then add sugar and eggs to the mixture steadily. Further add the vanilla extract and the remaining flour, baking soda and salt to make a unified blend mix. Refrigerate the mix for nearly 90 minutes to solidify.

After greasing the cookie sheet, drop small amount of powdered sugar and bake the mix at about 375 degrees for 15 minutes. After the baking time, remove the cookie without disturbing its shape.

Servings:  You can get about 100 cookies to serve many times over and over again.

Peanut Butter Hot Cocoa

Ingredients:

  • 8 cups milk
  • 11/2 cups natural cacao powder
  • 4 cups chocolate chips
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 11/2 cups peanut butter

 

Preparation: 

Heat the milk in a saucepan at medium heat till small bubbles form. Do not heat it such that it boils over. Next, slowly add the chocolate chips to the boiled milk and stir it fully. Then, transfer the brown sugar and peanut butter to the chocolate milk and stir slowly so that they melt completely. You can add salt as required and the dish is now ready. Additionally you can add whipped cream for that frothy appearance.

Serving: You can get a gallon of hot cocoa drink
